July 21, 2015 – ORLANDO, FL. Aerial Cartographics of America, Inc. (ACA) was selected to provide Aerial Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Surveying, and Mapping Services to support the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District after being awarded the small business set-aside contract on July 15, 2016. This multi-year, $4.5 million dollar contract will deliver geospatial support for civil works projects and emergency response missions within the geographic boundaries of the Jacksonville District including the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Based in Orlando, FL, ACA has become the leader in providing specialized geospatial solutions within the southeast under one umbrella. ACA is a Federal SBE, full-service survey firm that provides aerial photogrammetry, Aerial Lidar, Mobile LiDAR and traditional survey services from our Orlando, Miami and Jacksonville production locations. Led by Matthew LaLuzerne, PSM, ACA strategically organized a talented team of professional surveyors for each region that will provide local knowledge, quality and responsive services for each assignment.
The second largest civil works district in the USACOE, the Jacksonville District is focused on quality planning, engineering, construction and operations products and services for water resources, environment, infrastructure, homeland security and wartime missions. The services provided under this contract will assist the District in ensuring navigable harbors and channels; reducing flood damage; restoring ecosystems, protecting wetlands, and responding to natural disasters during an emergency. Other local, state and federal agencies rely data provided by the USACOE for planning and infrastructure developments within their jurisdiction.
